Improper International usage of Word

from Rasakali on 07/21/2013 06:39 PM

How often the translation of a word is accurate? Translated words are more often accurate, but the meaning changes if there is no practice of the word in society of the Translator. 'Adhyatma' is such a kind of word, which means Adhyana or Study of Atma. It is translated rightly as Spirituality, meaning the deeds and mystics of Spirit. But there is one sense in this. The original language of the word, Adhyatma, i.e. Sanskrit, sees Atma as the Origin of the Universe and the Origin of the Creation by both, as individual or as whole. The Origin Language specifies the embodied soul as Jibatma, and not Atma. And although, Spirit means Atma, in day to day usage, Jibatma is referred as Spirit, and consequently the deals and deed and composition of Jibatma turns out to be Spirituality.

What is wrong in that? It becomes wrong when the word, wrongly meant, is practiced extensively by them who do not know the exact meaning of the word. Spirituality word is now used to specify the works done out of mind and not at all related to Spirit or Atma. Now again, the original language of the word says, whom we generally refer as our mind, is basically a sensory system, and that system included our sensory systems are Six in number, Vision, Touch, Smell, Hear, Taste and Mind. So, this indiacates that the word Spirituality although is created with trusted responsibility to express Truth, but ultimately that word performs as the seed of illussion, i.e. It mecomes responsible for Untruth. Ha ha, Same word becomes antonyms of the same word.

What can be done to stop misuse of words thus? Choosing languages for different modes of expression. Import and export of word from different languages makes a language alive. So why not signifying a sector for words or why not a board of members to decide which word to be used globally. If the word Adhyatma would have been used globally, then that misuse of the word would not have been possible.

So, a Board of Experts in Foreign Language is required, where every word that would be added to the Dictionary would be scrutinized to carry forword the exact meaning of the word, because, to be very accurate, no word has any substitute to replace. So the Board has to observe what word is used to substitute and upto what mark it is able to substitute, and also whether any chance is there to deform the sense of the mother word.

Look at one such example, You will also know the word formation skill and know how of the Worlds third largest used Language, Hindi and the ancient most language on earth, Sanskrit.

Here, all the words are originated from a type of Syllable, called Dhatu. There are 52 Dhatus. The major factor is not here, the major factor is every Dhatu has got a mother meaning, all word are derived from this Dhatus, whose meaning is assembled from the Dhatu used. Look at the formation of word MA, meaning mother. MA basically is a Dhatu meaning Earth. TA means Tarak or Protector. One who Protects or TA in this huge, unknown earth, MA, is called MATA, meaning Mother, which has been Abbreviated in a single syllable as MA, abd also accepted for the meaning matches with the Earth, whom we also regard as MA or mother.

This is the process of word formation, that should not negate the original meaning of the word or intent of the word. And, I do not know why no concern is given to this things, but it is a devastating issue, beacuse

IF A WORD OF A MAN IS DEFORMED, THE MAN HIMSELF IS DEFORMED.
